Senior Accountant
PURPOSE:
Act as an integral team member in ensuring the accuracy of the company's accounting records.
Responsibilities:
1.
Analyze current processes, document and test internal controls per SEC requirements.
2.
Supervise the maintenance of internal control documentation and update as required.
3.
Organize and perform annual audit of internal controls.
4.
Coordinate with the controller in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, tax returns and other projects.
5.
Manage and execute timely fillings of tax returns including sales, use and excise taxes.
6.
Prepare monthly financial analysis.
Examine data to ensure accuracy.
7.
Contribute to the development of improved processes not only within the controller's department, but throughout the company as they relate to accounting.
8.
Manage assigned accounts, reconciliations, journal entries and analysis relative to the month-end close.
9.
Provide back up for other general ledger team members if circumstances arise that would require such assistance.
10.
Serve as a point of contact for the other management to provide research and addition information.
11.
Organize and manage carious projects as assigned.

General accounting and computer systems knowledge, problem-solving ability, accuracy, organization skills, good communication skills, ability to meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for long periods of time, standing, stooping, bending, manual dexterity, listening/hearing, speaking/verbal skills EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
Associates degree in Accounting and two years of Accounting experience RELATIONSHIPS:
Interaction with all levels of personnel.
