We're looking for an individual with great communication and interpersonal skills who can manage finances and establish operational procedures, and possesses a passion for organic farming and commitment to the environment.
The Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing all farm operations, which include managing employees and developing sustainable farming practices.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the sow farm, including breeding, farrowing, and weaning pigs Maintain accurate records of all activities, including herd health, breeding, and production -Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling Ensure the health and welfare of the animals, and make informed decisions regarding herd health and management Communicate effectively with employees, veterinarians, and other stakeholders Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies Requirements:
